Gardens of Delight

Our vision of abundant relaxing havens has drawn us to design low-maintenance sustainable gardens that nurture both people and wildlife.

Whatever the style and intent behind the vision of how you want your garden to look and feel, your garden is about you – the way you live, your dreams, what you need and what you love.

Everyone starts somewhere: If you have dreams for your space, know what you want but don’t know how to get there, some tricky problems and questions you’d like to bounce around, can’t articulate what you like, want some creative possibilities for your space or are stumped about how to start, give us a call. We’d love to hear from you.

Our low-maintenance sustainable gardens nurture both people and wildlife.

SITE VISIT

You have some ideas and questions.

A Site Visit lasts 1.5 hours and explores your space, your needs and dreams, along with any issues on the site. A questionnaire prior to the Site Visit allows you to get as much value as possible out of the Site Visit, which is followed up by an emailed summary.

Clients can use the Site Visit as:
- Inspiration: Don’t know what to do and need some ideas.
- Troubleshooting: Tricky problems.
- Nature lover: Want more bees, birds and butterflies in your garden.
- Sustainability: Want your garden to be as green as possible.
- Creative: Want to explore some directions and options.
- Jumping in: The start of a full garden transformation – you’re ready to go for it.

A fee of $375, which is deducted from the overall bill for clients who commission a Landscape Design. This includes a quote for a full design.

Concept design

You’ve decided to go for it.

This process includes developing a Client Brief and conducting a Site Analysis.

Two rough Concept Designs are presented at a site meeting with clients and are open to minor modifications and adaptions.

A final Master Concept Plan is then presented to clients and followed by a Planting Palette, Planting Plan and Planting Schedule detailing specific plant varieties and their exact location in the design.

We will source all plants, organise any nursery production and ensure plant set-out on site.
We can also arrange delivery and planting (at the client’s expense).

Generally ranging from $4000 and up per front or rear garden/space, a specific quote is given after the Site Visit and will vary according to the area, complexity and scope of work. This part of the process is covered by an Agreement with scheduled payments.

DOCUMENTATION

You need documentation.

Detailed technical drawings and specifications for the construction of your new garden may be required by council planning departments and Landscaping Contractors.
They include:

- Sections and Elevations;
- Schedule and Construction Specifications;
- Dimensions and Levels.

This stage involves meeting with clients about material, finishes, installation and construction options.

Production of documentation is determined by what is needed for the project and is subject to hourly fees based on a set Fee Schedule.
