JODIE GOLDRING
Jodie is a special kind of artist who loves to create art collaboratively. Apart from her own work and private commissions, she teaches workshops all around Victoria sharing her passion and skills with adults, children and communities. Jodie started life as an installation artist working with a wide range of recycled materials and metal, but an exploration of basket techniques led to a fascination with weaving with botanical fibres. She uses many weaving techniques to create a range of structures from woven fences and living willow tunnels to using found objects on the beach … and everything in between. Jodie has just finished creating a commission for a landscape work in copper and verdigris.

fleur brett
Fleur is one of those artists who likes to work in all mediums: installation, sculpture, printmaking, painting, weaving and even topiary. This Melbourne-based artist often uses surprising material from data cable to laser-cut perspex alongside more traditional approaches. After using some applewood recently to create a sculpture, she fell in love with carving and is planning some large outdoor work using carved fenceposts as uprights for weaving with recycled material. Fleur loves working collaboratively with both adults and children, and has run community workshops and projects. She regularly gives talks to artists where she passes on her broad range of skills. See Fleur talking about her installation for a sculpture show here, reactions from the public to the piece here, and some of her work here.
